S-G or G-S Family, how is it suppose to go?

Nothing says family like a good ol' portrait session!  It's always fun to gather everyone around the picture maker and pull funny faces but something better than that is capturing a moment.  This gathering was focused around our good friends newest arrival.  Baby J came into this world (finally) and pulled this beautiful family together! (I'll be posting Baby J's first pictures soon.)

The beginning of this family story starts with Mom and Dad - aren't they are the cutest couple?! (Dad gave me a muffin, it was exquisite, I might ask him to adopt me.)

I've found the best way to get people to smile naturally, is to make them laugh... usually at me.
I know everyone wants the perfect picture of everyone smiling looking at the camera, but honestly, some of my favorite shots are the ones in between.  Capturing real moments in real life.

Meet Uncle "Pirate" Chris (he recently had an incident which required an eye patch)  Aren't you glad he still has two dreamy eyes?!
For a grandma there is nothing better than holding a new born baby.

You might think that they are all hiding their eyes from me, but I swear I'm not that hard on the eyes!!  They are in fact pulling what we now call a "David" pose, it's the next big thing, right up there with "vogue". I swear, it's all true. Are you laughing... at me?  That's not nice!

I love the in between pictures, too. Great family photos! And Uncle Chris? Definitely not hard on the eyes. ;)
