I'm a finalist!

For those of you who regularly follow my blog I have some exciting news!! I got an email from someone famous today!! Among my peers in the photography community you may know of the Me Ra Koh, if you don't, you should! She is one of my favorite photographers and a very inspirational woman. I follow her blog daily and feel like I know her, as much as a blogstalker can know another person that is (not in a creepy-peep-around-the-corner-and-know-where-she-gets-her-veggies-kind-of-way)!

Anyway, back to the premise of the post... she has this contest about inspirational objects that I blogged about earlier. I got this lovely email first thing this morning letting me know that I was chosen as one of the five finalists! The other finalists are all superb photographers and I'm incredibly honored to be among them.

If you feel the need to take a gander head on over to Me Ra's blog and support your favorite photo (it doesn'thave to be mine but it sure would be nice to win). It's like your patriotic duty to vote right? Does that include in beautiful baby, poerty, and photography contests?? If so, then it's your patriotic duty to vote, go forth and exercise your right! Ok, I'm being silly, but hopefully I made you smile today :)
