The calm before the storm - Christmas Eve photos

Experiencing Christmas through my children is such a blessing. I am able to look through their eyes and see all the wonder and beautiful things that this season brings. It's truly magical!

With all the wondrous adventures this time of year brings I'm kind of glad it's almost over. It's been hectic! Christmas Eve was no exception to this - we were really excited Big J made it home (it was touch and go there for a little while if he would make it home), we enjoyed our first service at our new church (although Big J and the punk had to go to the children's room), had a great family dinner and then built a ginger bread house for Santa and the reindeer!

I missed the big guy himself but was able to catch the load of goodies he left behind!

I have a ton more but it's taking me a little longer to get through them than I thought! I may or may not post more... gotta keep you coming back for more somehow huh? C'mon internet, you know you want to see the hot mess of CHRISTMAS DAY!!
