"There is no place like home"

Wish me luck - I'm entering a submission to Me Ra Koh's photography competition.

A single ray of morning light thought a window fell upon my couch creating the perfect "spot light" effect. With the rest of the room darkened it just seemed perfect! So, I set the shoes up and shot away. The theme for the contest was "Inspirational Objects", so I thought seeing as I was so inspired by the shoes I'd submit one of my photos. Why not, right?

I hand held the camera because the kids were bouncing around so many of my shots came out blurred from camera shake but a couple made it through. I worked on a couple and this is the final submission.

There is no place like home

There were several small natural flares from the slippers but I enhanced them with a couple rendered solar flares. I did tighten the histogram and give a slight "s" to the curves but other than that this is SOOC.
