I can see the light, can you?

I uploaded the software and held my breathe... as I clicked through the installation and set up my eyes focused on a whole new world. What is hidden behind these options? What possibilities lay ahead? How many more hours can I spend on the computer?!?! Oh my! It's Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2!! In my class I learned how to use photoshop to edit my photos, which is the industry standard, but I'm thinking that Lightroom (LR here after) will quickly become the photojournalist standard.

LR is the digital equivalent to the film worlds chemical darkrooms. LR has been designed to specifically edit the photograph. There are no fancy options to clone or change the original image. You can achieve quick edits with just a few clicks! This is going to be fun while I explore the new frontier... I feel like a digital pilgrim, of course following a path that has already been mapped out, but a pilgrim none the less!

Hi-Ho Lightroom!

Here is a picture I posted yesterday, sorry for the repeat picture posting, but post processed through lightroom. I just wanted to share a few of the presets I liked.
I used the RAW image I originally shot, no previous edits were made. I love how I can easily apply a vignette, much easier than CS3!
